The thousand songs the birds have sung, under the thousand blues the sky has been... Things we did so well, But now have forgotten... How to live... How to laugh... How to love... But the wind whispers to any who will listen the haunting memories of things forgotten.

Something in the dark of night leads the birds and beasts to fright, knowing but not ever seeing unholy terror that makes their fleeing throught the dead and deadlier night, one of need and of fright. And we sit and ponder why no star or moon is in the sky, and the terror ever growing fearing but not really knowing why the dead and deadlier night, brings us such unearthly fright. Then the sunrays pierce the air and catch the darkness unaware, as the day has come at last we forget very fast of the dead and deadlier night, and why it put us to such fright.

In the dark of night I find you, huddled and alone. And I take you into my arms, to keep you safe and warm. No more will you be tossed about, in rough and stormy seas. No more will anyone break your heart, as long as you\'re with me. I\'ll be your ray of hope, your candle in the night. I\'ll hold you in my arms, safe and warm and tight.

Do you still love me? Can you look me in the eyes and honestly and truthfully say those three words to me after that night? That night... Did you mind my drinking of that sweet poison that some call booze, until I didn't know what words were coming out of my mouth? Did you care that I came back after loosing some of it into the bathroom toilet in that manner that no one really likes? And did you worry about me when I wandered back to my room instead after praying to those porcelain gods once more? And did you think twice when I awoke in the middle of the night only to do the same to my sheets, then roll them up and toss them in a corner
